The Final Step

New Information I Understand
Confusing Information

Algebraic expression: same as a variable expression.

Ex. 2a + 3b

Simplify: to combine like terms.
Ex. 2a + 3a = 5a

Terms: each part of an equation.

Like terms:  have the same variables.

Unlike terms:  different variables.

The differentiated, or edited, text will now go under the terms on the right. Easier definitions or pictures will work fine.
