Web Inquiry -- Parental Involvment
Parental involvment encompasses all of the ways in which a child's parent(s), guardian, and/or extended family are involved in his/her education. This could include (but is not limited to): parent-teacher conferences, volunteering in the classroom or school, participating in school activities or field trips, reading to children, phone calls and email to the teacher, helping children with homework, etc. Parental involvment has a great impact on a child's education as well. My web inquiry looks further into what impact exactly parental involvement may have on a child's academic achievement.
